Nigerian Musician MC LOPH is dead!

ImageYesterday brought us an emotional news, the death of MC Loph. He lost his life earlier yesterday, when he crashed his recently-acquired SUV along the infamous Benin/Ore Road on his way back to Anambra from Lagos.

MC Loph, famed for his hit single "Osondi Owendi" featuring Flavour N'Abania, has been gaining buzz across the East and other parts of the country over the past 12 months.

It was learnt that MC Loph's wedding is behind the corner (3 days from the day of the accident), there is also rumour that his wife to be was in the same vehicle with him during the accident. May his soul rest in peace.



National Unity Threatened!

ImageOver the years, Nigeria has been struggling with oneness, living under the umbrella of one Nigeria, presently, there is a new development, the Abia State government has said that come the 1st of October this very year, all non-indigene of the State, who currently holds a position will be sacked and be replaced by indigenes who suffered same from other States of the federation.

The governor made this statement after seeing many of the States indigene sent back(after losing their positions where they work in those States) from other States simply because they are not indigenes of those States.

Prostitute Arrested For Trying To Burn Down A Church

Father Tansi Cyprian Michael Iwene Tansi
Blessed Cyprian Michael Iwene Tansi (born in Aguleri, Anambra State, Nigeria in September 1903 – died in Leicester, England, January 24, 1964) was a Igbo Nigerian ordained a Roman Catholic priest of the Archdiocese of Onitsha, Nigeria on December 19, 1937. He worked in the parishes of Nnewi, Dunukofia, Akpu/Ajalli and Aguleri. He was later a Cistercian Monk at Mount Saint Bernard Monastery in England.

He was beatified by Pope John Paul II on March 22, 1998, who said "Blessed Cyprian Michael Tansi is a prime example of the fruits of holiness which have grown and matured in the Church in Nigeria since the Gospel was first preached in this land. He received the gift of faith through the efforts of the missionaries, and taking the Christian way of life as his own he made it truly African and Nigerian"...(more)
